Is the Food at Culver’s Awesome? [POLL]

Culver's is open, and from the looks of it...everyone in Twin Falls has tried their food. Last night around 6:00 there was a line wrapped around the entire restaurant. I've heard nothing but good things about Culver's, and I am as equally excited to try their frozen custard and cheese curds. Yum! If you have eaten at Culver's...what did you think?

Jackie LOVES the Nissan Altima

Rob Green Auto Group is letting me test drive a brand new Nissan Altima. I'm in love with this car! It has everything a mom could ask for: heated leather seats, rear camera (to make backing up easier), touch screen, great gas mileage, lots of storage...including a trunk that's so big you can fit your golf clubs and your groceries in it.

Is It Worth It To Get Chickens? [POLL]

Rather you live in city limits or in the country a lot of people are raising chickens so they have their own, home grown eggs. I love the idea of chickens and having a bountiful amount of fresh eggs but, I'm not sure I am the farming type. I was raised on a farm but, we raised crops...no animals!

Ideas for Teacher Appreciation Week

It's National Teacher Appreciation week! If you are like me, you didn't plan anything so your scrabbling to put together a small gift for each of your child's teachers. Here are a few of my favorite ideas:

1. Pencil Vase. Buy a straight, simple glass vase and wrap it with pencils. Add flowers and a card and you are good to go.

2. Basket of Berries. Buy some berries and a cute container. Print a card that says, "We appreciate you berry much!".

3. Cookies. Bake some cookies for each teacher and attach a note that says, "You are one smart cookie."

4. Homemade stamped totes. Teachers are always carrying a lot of stuff. Buy a blank canvas tote and some fabric stamps. Have your children stamp the tote.

5. A plant or flowers with a note that says, "Thanks for helping me grow this year."

What St Jude Means to Us

The first time I heard about St Jude is when my grandmother sent me a Christmas card that said, "Instead of getting you a Christmas present this year, I gave a donation to the sick babies at St Jude in your name." I quickly learned, that while I was busy growing up, a lot of other children were not only sick but fighting for their lives.

Ian’s St Jude Story

Meet Ian...he is 6 years old, when he was 5 his mom was told he only had 6 months to live. St Jude changed that!.

One night, after little Ian had fallen asleep his mom cuddled next to him in bed, he woke up suddenly and hugged her tightly. “What happened?” she asked.

Ian replied, “Mom, you know what? God just came to me, and He told me that I have to go. It’s time for me to go to heaven.”

She told him, “No, only old people go to heaven.”

This Southwest Flight Attendant Had Passengers Laughing During the Safety Presentation [watch]

You know how boring the obligatory pre flight safety speech is, right?  Well imagine how boring and repetitive it must be for the folks that work the flight.

This flight attendant took an otherwise nose-picking event day to happy place and actually managed to make the safety presentation quite entertaining

I Totally Blew It

If you have ever been on a diet you have probably had a cheat day here and there. Some people would argue that a cheat day is OK. I think it's how much you "cheat" that really matters. Yesterday I cheated WAY too much but, it wasn't entirely my fault. I started out on track with my delicious egg whites but, then I ate a BUCKET of popcorn at the movies, fruit snacks followed by chocolate candy. When I got home my neighbor had brought me delicious butterscotch cookies so I ate half a dozen of those. Ugh! To ensure this doesn't happen again I have complied a list that will help me stay on track.

22 Ways To Stay on Track, according to Web MD
