Remember in 2007 when Apple had just unveiled the first ever Apple iPhone? Remember the buzz surrounding it? Remember how everyone was talking about it?
As of June 11th, 2013, the iPhone will be obsolete.
I've been in radio for 15 years and the landscape has changed dramatically. When I started we still used cart machines and reels, and had no idea what "social media" was. Now everything is digital, we're all citizen journalists, and we spend just as much time worrying about Analytics as we do Arbitron.
Ever dreamed of getting a gig in radio? Today may be your lucky day.
There's something special about a yard sale. Looking through all of those once-important treasures scattered about tables or on sheets on the lawn, you'll hopefully find something truly remarkable that you can't live without.
The old idiom is very true: "One man's trash is another man's treasure," and your odds improve dramatically when you're at Southern Idaho's Largest Yard Sale!
Today's discovery is high on my list of "pointless must haves": It's a couch that transforms into a bunk bed. Sure, we've all see couches that pull out into beds, but this one knocks it up a notch and transforms into a full bunk bed!

In the wake of a tragedy always look for the helpers, and why kids need superheroes. Here's what Terry was talking about last week.
There is a moment in the most recent 'Man of Steel' movie trailer that actually made me feel young. Early in the trailer we see a young Clark Kent playing in the tall grass on a perfect summer evening with his red hero cape on. It seems that even heroes dream of being heroes.
And it made me think of myself in the 1980's: watching the original Richard Donner 'Superman,' running around in the red cape my mother made me, and dreaming of being a hero.
Texas passed a landmark bill requiring drug tests for Welfare applicants, Terry's pup Robbie performs, and our Southern Idaho Allergy Nightmare. Here's what Terry was talking about last week.
A little over a week ago I started working with my 7 month old Border Collie Robbie on Clicker/Positive Reinforcement Training. It's true what I've read: Border Collies are the smartest dog breed. Robbie has quickly picked up the training, and actually asks for more every day. Check out the video of my pup performing!
Today the Texas Senate passed a bill that will require some Welfare applicants to take a drug test before they can get access to benefits. Senator Jane Nelson, my new hero and the bill's sponsor, said this of the bill: "Taxpayer money should not be used to subsidize someone's drug habit."
Should Idaho adopt a similar measure?
It's spring in Southern Idaho and for allergy sufferers the nightmare has just started. Stuffy noses, watery eyes, dry, itchy skin, itching, shortness of breath, coughing, sneezing, and wheezing are just some of the joys of the season.
So what's causing our allergies to go haywire, and what can we do about it?
