Now everything is digital, we're all citizen journalists, and we spend just as much time worrying about Analytics as we do Arbitron.

April 18, 2013 There is a moment in the most recent 'Man of Steel' movie trailer that actually made me feel young. Early in the trailer we see a young Clark Kent playing in the tall grass on a perfect summer evening with his red hero cape on. It seems that even heroes dream of being heroes.
And it made me think of myself in the 1980's: watching the original Richard Donner 'Superman,' running around in the red cape my mother made me, and dreaming of being a hero.

April 9, 2013 I'm pretty obsessed with time travel. The fact that leading physicists actually believe that some form of travel across time could be theoretically possible makes my Spidey-Sense tingle. Unfortunately that sort of time travel probably won't happen in my lifetime (unless you have a spare time machine you're willing to loan me).
There is, however, another way. Utilizing your own social media posts and pics, you can travel back to your own past with an app called 'Timehop.'
