Malta, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) School patrons in Malta are wondering when they'll get a replacement for Raft River High School. Idaho’s First News reports The current high school was built more than 50 years ago. Three Cassia school bonds have failed in recent years.

As a result, many of the district's needs haven't gone away. That's why school trustees want to hear from local residents. Debbie Critchfield, Spokeswoman for the Cassia School District says, "We want to see what are the needs, exactly how can they be addressed, and what action can the school district take.”

The school district trustees will use the information to put together a long range plan that will address all of Cassia County's educational needs. Malta was just the first stop for this series of meetings in the area.
