BURLEY, Idaho (AP) — Cassia County commissioners have admitted to another open meeting violation following an investigation by a Jerome County prosecutor.

The Times-News reports the board admitted Monday to holding an illegal meeting in March. Commissioners had moved the March 23 meeting from their chambers to a restaurant without placing the move on the agenda.

Jerome County Prosecutor John Horgan told commissioners he would file a complaint in court if they didn't agree to admit to the meeting violation and receive training on state open meeting laws.

Burley city councilman Casey Andersen accused the board of six violations earlier this year. The board admitted to two of the allegations in May. The illegal March meeting was included in the original complaint.

Andersen says the board's restaurant meal should be repaid to taxpayers.
