When you think about TV highlights for this weekend, the first thing that undoubtedly comes to mind is the Super Bowl. But country fans everywhere can also look forward to Carrie Underwood‘s special episode of ‘CMT Crossroads.’

Keepin’ It Country first reported hearing on Sirius XM’s The Highway that Underwood might debut her upcoming single ‘Good Girl’ on the show. However, that rumor has since been debunked. “As of right now, she is not scheduled to sing her new single on the show,” a CMT spokesperson clarified for USA Today.

Nevertheless, fans are still in for a good episode of ‘Crossroads,’ as Underwood will be teaming up with ‘American Idol‘ judge and rocker Steven Tyler. The pair previously brought a joint rendition of Underwood’s ‘Undo It’ and Tyler’s ‘Walk This Way’ to the stage of the 2011 ACM Awards.

Underwood and Tyler’s ‘Crossroads’ episode — long title being ‘CMT Crossroads: Steven Tyler and Carrie Underwood Live From the Pepsi Super Bowl Fan Jam’ — will air on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 11PM ET, just one day before crowds descend upon Indianapolis, Ind. for the biggest football event of the season.

While we won’t get to see the country starlet giving a sneak peek at ‘Good Girl,’ this weekend, it won’t be much longer before it goes public. The single, written by Underwood, Chris DeStefano and Ashley Gorley, isn’t set to hit radio until Feb. 23.
