Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker Introduces Toadette

The pink-pigtailed Toadette joins Toad as the second playable character of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker for the Wii U.

Nintendo has announced that Toadette has joined the roster of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. Along with Princess Peach, Daisy and Wendy O. Koopa, Toadette is one of the only noticeable females of the Mushroom Kingdom. Luckily, Nintendo has made Toadette just as versatile and resourceful as Captain Toad. Searching for the Power Star, Toadette must take on Wingo and get through 70 puzzle-filled stages inspired by Super Mario 3D World. We always thought that the Toad race of the Mushroom Kingdom was pretty much androgynous. Nevertheless, the addition of Toadette to this treasure-tracking game is a welcome one.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker will launch on Dec. 5 in retail stores and on the Nintendo eShop for the suggested retail price of $39.99.
