Captain America: The Winter Soldier Trailer: Avenging Mobile Devices

Steve Rogers has slain the skull, avenged the present and is now ready to save your mobile on Gameloft's upcoming smartphone title, Captain America: The Winter Soldier - The Official Game.

Gameloft has surprisingly taken the cel-shaded route in trying to bring this patriot to iOS and Android devices. Combined with its top-down perspective, The Winter Soldier reminds us very much of the Marvel: Ultimate Alliance/X-Men Legends series. The cel-shaded look and the in-game use of onomatopoeia signifies that The Winter Soldier is trying to stay true to Captain America's comic book roots while remaining up-to-date with the movie's lore and character designs. We're not sure how its advertised team combat will pan out, but we hope to see the Falcon, Nick Fury and Black Widow help with Captain's multiplayer.

The trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier - The Official Game says that it is coming soon, but we expect that it will be here before the release of its tie-in film on April 4.
