In the comic book world, superheroes modify their costumes on a pretty regular basis, so it's not surprising that Chris Evans' cinematic Captain America has already gone through three costumes. In 'Captain America: The First Avenger,' his suit was tough and WWII era-appropriate. In 'The Avengers,' he upgraded to a more streamlined and stylish look. But what about his new uniform for 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier'? Well, a newly leaked piece of concept art gives us our best look yet at the redesigned outfit.

Comic fans (especially modern readers) will instantly recognize this look from recent years. Although comic book Cap is currently back in his old-fashioned duds, he spent a few years as the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. and wore a uniform that was all-but-identical to the art seen below. Gone are are the red and white stripes along and midsection and the star on the chest has gotten a fancy, militaristic upgrade. It's a significantly less colorful look, but since 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' sees everyone's favorite super-soldier acting as a S.H.I.E.L.D. operative, it's probably more appropriate for espionage work.

The art comes from Comic Book Movie and has yet to be officially confirmed. However, considering what we know about the upcoming film, it's a redesign that makes sense for the story and already exists in the Marvel Universe canon. We approve.

'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' is currently filming and will be released on April 4th, 2014.
