CALDWELL (KTVB) -- A Caldwell man was cited after his car struck a school bus filled with children at a Caldwell intersection Monday morning.

The Canyon County Sheriff's Office, along with Caldwell Police, responded to a traffic crash just after 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Homedale and Farmway roads.

Deputies say 55-year-old Brian Faulks was westbound on Homedale Road when his car slid through a stop sign and struck the bus, which was headed north.

There were 27 elementary students on the bus at the time of the crash. No one was injured.

Faulks was cited for driving too fast for conditions.

The sheriff's office reminds the public to use caution when driving on wet pavement.
