BUHL, Id. (KMVT/KSVT) A homeowner stopped an intruder at gun point in Buhl Sunday night. After the man kept approaching, he pulled the trigger, but his gun jams.

According to court documents, Danny Grubs was watching television in his home when he heard a large crash at his back door. He grabbed his 9 millimeter pistol from the couch and ordered the alleged intruder, Mike Suter 32, to the ground. Suter, who police say appeared to be under the influence of drugs, did not comply and began approaching grubs.

It is then that grubs pulled the trigger, and his pistol jammed. He was able to keep the jammed gun pointed at Suter until police arrived and intervened.
