Broncos to Take on Falcons

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A sense of calm has returned to the Boise State locker room. The Broncos rolled up 472 yards of offense en route to a 63-14 rout of Tennessee-Martin last week — an explosion that helped erase some of the unease that came with failing to score a touchdown in the season-opening loss at Washington.

Now, the Broncos (1-1) are hoping to keep the momentum on offense rolling when they take on Air Force on Friday. If history is a guide, coach Chris Petersen says his team will need all the points it can get against the Falcons (1-1, 0-1 Mountain West).

Two years ago, the Falcons gave the Boise State defense fits, rushing for 264 yards and holding the ball for more than 36 minutes in a 37-26 loss.
