Brad Paisley will soon travel to Washington D.C. to take part in the Presidential Inauguration events, which are scheduled to take place on Jan. 19 and 21.

The 'Southern Comfort Zone' singer joins a stellar entertainment line-up for the festivities leading up to the official start of President Obama's second term in office. Katy Perry, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Far East Movement, fun., Nick Cannon, Soul Children of Chicago, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Mindless Behavior, Marc Anthony and members of the cast of 'Glee' are also on the bill.

The Presidential Inaugural Committee made the announcement today (Jan. 11) that the Kids’ Inaugural concert will take place Jan. 19, while the official Inaugural ball is scheduled for Jan. 21. Both events will be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, but no further details have been announced.

As previously reported, Kelly Clarkson has also been confirmed to perform during the presidential events. The Texas native will sing ‘My Country, ‘Tis of Thee' on Jan. 21 at the West Front of the U.S. Capitol. Beyonce and James Taylor will join the 'Don't Rush' singer onstage, performing their versions of the National Anthem and 'America the Beautiful,' respectively.

Paisley and Clarkson are the only two artists with ties to country music to be confirmed for the weekend of festivities, but more performers are expected to be announced in the coming week.
