BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A Boise man has denied charges filed after two women were assaulted in a mall parking lot, while his wife and brother pleaded not guilty to trying to help him avoid arrest. The Idaho Statesman reports  Greggory Macho faces trial on Dec. 16.

He is charged with kidnapping, aggravated battery, battery with intent to commit a serious felony and destruction of evidence. Prosecutors say Macho attacked and sexually assaulted a woman on May 14 and then run over a second woman who came to her aid as he drove out of the parking lot.

His wife, Jessica, and brother, Richard, pleaded not guilty Wednesday to destruction of evidence for helping him alter the appearance of his pickup truck. Richard Macho also faces a preliminary hearing on Sept. 3 on five child pornography charges.
