BOISE, Idaho (KTVB)- Boise native and NASCAR driver Brian Scott has been involved in crashes before.  But Saturday’s Nationwide Series crash was a bit different in that fans became involved. Scott was involved in the violent crash when his No. 2 car couldn’t avoid the out-of-control No. 32 car driven by Kyle Larson, sending Larson into the wall and fence surrounding Daytona International Speedway.

The crash sent debris into the grandstand, injuring 30 people. One day after the crash, Scott told KTVB that he was happy that no one was killed in the accident, and that he thinks NASCAR is continually doing everything possible to ensure driver and spectator safety. Via www.ktvb.com
