Body of Missing Burley Woman Located in Camas County

FAIRFIELD, Idaho (KLIX) – The body of a Burley woman who went missing Wednesday night in Camas County has been found.

According to the Camas County Sheriff’s Office, the body of 31-year-old Brittany Stanger was found at 10:42 a.m. Thursday near Fleck Summit. Unfortunately, the sheriff’s office said in a news release issued Thursday afternoon, “she had taken her own life.”

The sheriff’s office and first responders “are saddened and our thoughts and prayers go out to the family."
