NAMPA, Idaho (KTVB) -- A Nampa man, believed to have been kidnapped a day earlier, was found dead in his car Sunday afternoon.

Nampa Police say the death of 46-year-old Jeffrey Dyer is being investigated as a homicide. According to investigators, two people entered a home on West Dakota Avenue Saturday morning. After an altercation, police say the intruders took Dyer, against his will, from the home. Dyer's 1995 Cadillac Seville was also taken.

Dyer's car was found with his body inside early Sunday afternoon. Police say the case does not appear to be a random incident and they're asking anyone with information to call (208) 465-2257 or Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
