New Treasure Goblins, a brand new zone and the Barbarian capital are coming to Diablo III.

At BlizzCon 2014, Blizzard has announced that Diablo III will be getting all sorts of new changes, including new enemies, Rifts, items, zones and Legendaries (courtesy of Diablo Fans). While all of these new things are awesome, something even more interesting was that Blizzard's crew was very quick to reply with a "no comment" response to an attendee's question about a second big Diablo III expansion during the game's Q&A panel. If Blizzard was done with Diablo III, we have a feeling they would say that there was nothing else planned except patches and additional support..

Diablo III will be getting new Treaasure Goblin types. The Gem Hoard is silver and drops nothing but gems. The Odious Collector has a green aura and drops crafting materials. The Blood Thief is red and drops Blood Shards. All Goblins will now have improved AI, with a tendancy to kite you towards other enemies to help give it some coverage while it tries to escape your greed. Adventure Mode Rifts will be more frequent, and their loops and dead ends should be much shorter. The artisans in New Tristram (Act I) are going to be rearranged so that they're closer (thank goodness). There will be a new tier of Legendary and Set Items being added as well. Season 2 of Conquests will be coming in a later patch as well as the Ruins of Sescheron. The Ruins of Sescheron was the Barbarian capital from Diablo II's Lord of Destruction intro cinematic, which is located by Arreat Crater in Act III of Diablo III.

Patch 2.1.2 will hit Diablo III "soon," according to Blizzard.
