Oklahoma native Blake Shelton is extremely committed to Miranda Lambert, and he wants her to know that he has eyes only for her. In fact, even in his music videos, Shelton wants his love life to be 'based on a true story,' and his story will always include his wife... and not a random actress, which is why he refuses to play the romantic lead in his videos.

"Since I've been married, I won't go there in a video," the 'Boys 'Round Here' singer tells People. "If I was to go there, it would be Miranda in a video. I'm not an actor and don't pretend to be."

He adds, "Everybody knows I'm married to Miranda Lambert, and they don't want to see me leaving a bar with a girl. Why would I take this ring off for a video? I'd be insulted by that if I was Miranda, and I don't want to do anything to insult her or hurt her feelings."

It's clear that Shelton's thoughtfulness is born from a deep respect for Lambert, and his deep level of commitment is echoed by his lovely wife, who recently was named Female Vocalist of the Year.

The Lambert-Shelton household has a few busy weeks coming up, as Shelton's recent album has seen tremendous success, his role as a coach on 'The Voice' is keeping him on his toes and Lambert's trio, Pistol Annies, are looking forward to their sophomore album, 'Annie Up.'
