Blaine County, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Blaine County Sheriff’s Deputy Sergeant Fabrizio Lizano was awarded a life saving certificate of appreciation award Monday after performing life saving measures on a man in Boise.

Sergeant Lizano was at a Treasure Valley Costco when he noticed a crowed gathering around a man who was not breathing. He was able to perform CPR and save the man's life.

In a press release, Sheriff Gene Ramsey said in part, “The man survived because of Sergeant Lizano's training in first aid and his willingness to assist a stranger in need.”
