Irrational has released the PC requirements for BioShock Infinite today, as well as a few details about some of the differences between the PC and console versions.

Irrational's Chris Kline has posted on the Irrational Games Insider and starts off by explaining the difference in controls. The most important part is that PC gamers will be able to remap their controls with different keybindings. Irrational has also added artificial mouse smoothing for high-end gaming mice, the sensitivity of which can be controlled.

They've even added three separate controller layouts for those who prefer to game on their PCs with console controllers. These layouts come in three flavors: Default, Marksman, and Retro.

As for the graphics, Kline goes on to say that they've "fully embraced widescreen gaming" and offer "horizontal plus" widescreen support. There's also support for multi-monitor gaming with AMD Eyefinity, NVIDIA Surround, and Matrox TripleHead2Go. However you slice it, your eyes are going to be in for a visual treat.

Though you only need DX10-compatible software for Infinite, it has support for DX11, so your eyes can bleed and tear up some more. Kline apologizes for the fact that the game will ship with three discs, but says it's so that players can enjoy the "unadulterated, full-resolution textures right in the box."

There's also a little section that talks about the game being on Steam, complete with Steam Cloud support, which means you can pick up your game saves wherever you go. And then there's the support for Steam's Big Picture mode, so you can play on your big-screen! And finally, here are the requirements to play BioShock Infinite on your PC:
