Best Way To Cook a Turkey

This may seem like old news, but many of us will cook a turkey for Christmas, so...we should determine the BEST way to cook one, right?

Over the weekend I witnessed a heated discussion about how to "properly" cook a turkey. I never realized there was a WRONG way to cook turkey, mainly because my mom or husband always cooks turkey.

According to my family...the ONLY way to cook a turkey is in a Magnelite roaster. Other family members were certain you cook a turkey on a broil sheet in the oven and some said the ONLY way to cook a turkey was in a fryer or in a smoker.
