Berry Mix Recalled after Hepatitis A Outbreak

BOISE, Idaho (KTVB) -- Berries sold at Costco stores are linked to a national outbreak of hepatitis A. The Idaho Health and Welfare Department said Monday afternoon that the viral illness may be linked to "Townsend Farms organic anti-oxidant blend" frozen berries.

A health and welfare spokesman says there have been no reports of illness associated with berries sold in Idaho. Costco has removed the berries from its shelves, and is notifying all members who have bought them since late February of this year.
