als are coming together to help a Twin Falls soldier who was seriously injured last month while on foot patrol in Afghanistan. Pvt. Terence “Bo” Jones lost both legs after stepping on a land mine. Jones is being treated at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas but his friends, family and those who have never met him will be getting together this Saturday for a fund raising event in Twin Falls. The event will be held at the Montana Steakhouse starting at 3 p.m. Admission for the spaghetti feed is $10 and there will be all kinds of donated items for raffles and a silent auction including an ATV, a 22 rifle, a Gary Stone painting…just to name a few. Everyone is invited to the event to help out a local soldier and his family. Jones father, Tim Jones of Twin Falls, tells the Times News that Bo is down to one surgery a week but has a long road of recovery ahead. In about three weeks the 21-year-old will be moved to the VA Polytrauma Center in San Antonio where he will receive long-term, one-on-one care working with his limbs.
