Post-'Argo' Oscar, Ben Affleck has been keeping exceptionally busy. Not only will he be playing Bruce Wayne/Batman in the upcoming 'Batman Vs. Superman'/'Man of Steel 2'/whatever they end up calling it, he's the lead in David Fincher's 'Gone Girl,' has two TV shows (at least) that he's behind, and has just lined up a new directing gig. So, he's definitely brushed that 'Runner Runner' dirt of his shoulder.

Deadline is reporting that he's lined up a thriller set in Africa, with Affleck set to play the lead in a story about a group of mercenaries who are hired to kill a warlord that rules his people with an iron fist. The film's focus will be on the ambiguity of attempting to be a world police in a situation where removing the problem is not necessarily a solution. The film will be produced by Affleck and Matt Damon's Pearl Street company.

This is on top of the adaptation of the Dennis Lehane novel 'Live By Night' that he's also planning on starring in and directing, and there's a strong possibility that 'Batman Vs. Superman' could lead to his appearance in a follow up or that pesky 'Justice League' movie, so the man looks to be working steady well through 2015.
