Bellevue May Increase Water Fees

BELLEVUE, Idaho ( KMVT / KSVT ) - The City of Bellevue is considering raising its water fees for residents.

According to the Bellevue City Clerk and Treasurer the current water fee for residents is a flat monthly rate of almost $29 a month. A proposed increase of nearly 5% would raise that to a little over $30 a month. The Bellevue Common Council held a public hearing to discuss the proposed fee increase on July 8th.

Other proposals were also on the table. They are expected to discuss and possibly vote on the water fee increase at their next meeting on July 20th.
