BELLEVUE, Idaho (AP) — A Bellevue man and his 12-year-old son were injured when their snowmobiles collided on a jump south of Bellevue. Blaine County Sheriff Gene Ramsey says the crash was reported at 4 p.m. Sunday, where several people were taking turns jumping snowmobiles on a hill in a field. Witnesses say 47-year-old Keith Kreczkowski was traveling east and went airborne over the hill just as his 12-year-old son, Nolan, crested the hill from the west. Ramsey says the bottom of Keith's snowmobile struck the hood of Nolan's snowmobile and then the boy's chest. Both were knocked off their machines by the force of the collision. Keith Kreczkowski was taken to the hospital in Ketchum while Nolan was flown to a hospital in Boise for treatment of head and chest trauma. Their conditions were not released.
