Backpacking Across The States to Raise Breast Cancer Awareness
October 22, 2012 9:05 AM At the recent Bras Across The Canyon event, I was blessed to meet so many great people. Some shared stories of pain, others of triumph and all of them were inspiring.
Among those that attended were two self professed “regular guys” from Oregon who are anything but ordinary.
Their names are Nick Coats and Gianluca “Johnny” Paparo and they say that they are hiking across the states to raise awareness and funds for the National Breast Cancer foundation.
They started in late August and hope to end their journey in Boston sometime close to summer 2013.
Nick and Johnny spent some time on the phone with the Morning Show today to tell us a little bit about what they are doing and why.
