Jackie

This mom of two beautiful little boys spends her mornings laughing at, and sometimes with, Brad Weiser. The rest of her day is like most mom's: school drop off, grocery store, school pick up, sports practice, play date, etc. Idaho has been Jackie's primary home so you may find it surprising that she had to be taught how to camp when she was 25. In case you are wondering...it didn't go so well. Jackie loves vacuuming, long walks on the beach, running like Forrest Gump, rafting, her kids and hubby, and spending time with her friends and family. She doesn't like mayo and mean people but, she will give you a hug on any day but Wednesdays! Jackie is the co-host on 'The Morning Show with Brad and Jackie' on 95.7 KEZJ.

Is It Rude to Ask Your Guests to Take Off Their Shoes?

Shoes are gross. We walk in public bathrooms, through mud puddles, across grass that has been used as a restroom for animals and then we walk in our houses. Some things in life you can look past others you can not!

Do you make your guests take off their shoes when they come into your home?

How Much is the Stuff in Your Purse Worth?

I believe that my grandma has thousands of dollars worth of stuff in her purse.  Her purse is the size of a suitcase and the stuff inside could be sold at antique stores.  But I'm pretty sure my purse has $5.00 worth of valuables in it. I may be wrong. According to a new survey from the Daily Mail, the average woman is carrying around THOUSANDS of dollars worth of stuff in her purse.

The survey found the average purse costs $400 and the stuff inside it is worth about $1,500.

How Many Cups of Coffee Will You Need Today?

Yesterday was a busy day...not only for parents but for kids too. Most kiddos had Halloween parties at their school and then attended Trick or Treat on Bish's Street. By the time my kids got in the car to go traditional trick-or-treating they were exhausted, but quickly recovered when they saw Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Pumpkin Thiefs

It happens every year. You take your kiddos to the pumpkin patch...they take an hour or two picking out the perfect pumpkin. You take the pumpkin home, place it on your front porch and then...someone steals it. We can all agree that stealing pumpkins is terrible, but its part of Halloween. There isn't much we can do about pumpkins getting stolen, or is there?

Sharing Your Restroom With Trick-or-Treaters

Trick-or-treating can be a lot of fun. Kids come to your door dressed in their cute costumes, you get to give them candy and everyone leaves happy! Right? There are things that can go wrong during the trick-or-treating process. I've seen wardrobe malfunctions, cars driving too fast, kids destroying pumpkins, etc. But have you ever seen a child that desperately needs to use the bathroom? Worse yet...have you ever seen a child that desperately needs to use the bathroom on your front doorstep?

Did You Get Trick-or-Treaters on Saturday?

A few years ago Halloween fell on a Sunday. That year everyone moved Halloween from Sunday to Saturday. Since that year I think people may be confused on when to actually celebrate Halloween. This  year a lot of Halloween parties and dances occurred over the weekend and some families took their children trick-or-treating on Saturday.
