Though there hasn't been much to go on when it comes to Zack Snyder's 'Man of Steel' (it feels like the biggest leaked information came from the toy sets), what's been released so far suggests the film will feature a lot of soul searching, and an emo-Superman who's torn between two fathers. Recently footage was screened, and it turns out they're saving all the big spectacle for later.

‘Oz: The Great and Powerful 2′ — Disney Is Already Prepping a Sequel
When it comes to tentpole studio releases, there's a pressure to get the next one made two or three years after the first, simply so the brand is still in people's heads. The best way to get a jump on that is to start prepping the sequel before the first film is released, and because (at least with these films) the script is often the cheapest part, it's no surprise that Disney has already commissioned someone to pen a sequel to 'Oz: The Great and Powerful.'

When it was announced that 'The Hobbit' would be turned from two films into three, it seemed possible that Warner Brothers and Peter Jackson could kill themselves trying to deliver an additional three hour movie only seven months after the release of the second. So it's not a big surprise that 'The Hobbit: There and Back Again' has been pushed from July 18 to December 13, 2014.

With the phenomenal success of 'Paranormal Activity' and its sequels, other studios took to copying the formula of making micro-budgeted horror movies, which is partly why we got 'Sinister.' Done for $3 million, it has made over $87 million worldwide, and so it's no surprise they're working on a sequel, which got officially announced today.

Sam Raimi's 'Evil Dead' trilogy is one of the touchstones of cult cinema. From the first no-budget horror film, to the frenetic, slapsticky horror-comedy of the second, to the Dungeons and Dragons and Mark Twain-inspired third film, they are marvelously entertaining movies that inspire very passionate fans. 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes,' and the new approach to the 'PotA' films is decidedly different than the tact taken in the 1970's. There, each sequel was given a smaller and smaller budget and with fewer name talents. Not so with 'Dawn,' as it just added Gary Oldman to the cast.
