Not that we're counting or anything, but Christmas is only 27 days and a few hours away, which means it's time to get into the spirit ASAP. Now, this doesn't mean going 'Gangnam Style' crazy with house lights. You also don't have to go buying the 12 days of Christmas to prep for the holidays either, although that would be super awesome. It can require very little to no effort to feel all tingly with Christmas excitement, like making obnoxiously long gift lists or dressing up our cats like reindeer. Come on, you know we can't get through the holidays without embarrassing our pets.
It seems like every day we discover yet another reason to reaffirm the awesomeness of our four-legged friends. For one thing, dogs are super troopers when it comes to our embarrassing Facebook antics.
There are tons of things we love about Thanksgiving, like how it's socially acceptable to dress up as a pilgrim in public. (Other people do that too, right?) Obviously boats full of gravy will trump square-buckled shoes every time though. Unless
There's no denying Thanksgiving is a holiday that proves just how awesome Americans are. Think about it-- it's an entire day dedicated to stuffing ourselves with fantastic food, spending time with family and friends and watching football. But what really makes Thanksgiving the ultimate American hol
If you know anything about us here at TheFW, it's that we love a good, harmless prank. Cell phone crashing and embarrassing people with talking elevators are just a couple we particularly fancy. Basically, we'd like to think of ourselves as joking experts. So when we recently came across a prank we've never before encountered, we took a humble blow to our humor egos and laughed our pants off.
Even though the news that Disney and 'Star Wars' are joining forces is totally awesome, we do have to realize it'll take a little getting used to on both ends to ensure a smooth transition.
Few things brighten our day more than puppies. They're troopers when it comes to adorably tortuous makeovers, after all. OK, so they might not be superfans of unfortunate haircuts or miniature shoes. But we've discovered something dogs really enjoy-- celebrating their birthdays. What's not to love about party hats and cupcakes made out of dog food and blowing out candles and noisemakers?! Our point exactly.
We were first introduced to 'Grumpy Cat' a few weeks back, when her hilarious scowl face went viral. Of course this begs the question, "why so grumpy lady kitty?" Maybe "Tard" (the cat's real name) likes being known as the cat with a permanent case of the kitty cat blues. Or maybe she's just ticked her owner keeps sticking a camera in her face. Either way, Tard has gained an impressive fan base.
Our pets are good at tons of things, like getting stuck in jars and sneaking into pictures for awesome photobombs. They possess talents a bunch of other animals would envy. But did you know our four-legged friends are really, really good at playing dead?
Ever since news broke that Disney purchased Lucasfilm, AKA the 'Star Wars' franchise, tons of Disney-meets-Star-Wars art has hit the net. It's not only really cool, the art also helps us to picture what it'll be like when the sci-fi franchise is immersed in cartoon land.
There are tons of things we don't know, like why Evil Baby is so terrifying or how Honey Boo Boo landed a hit TV show. Sure, we could use the old Google Machine or Siri, but sometimes we like hearing answers from an actual person.
But did you know there's an even better, adorably entertaining way to get answers to life's toughest questions?
A few weeks back, a tiny baby burrito kicked off our craving for kids dressed in food costumes. (Not for actual baby. We're not zombies or anything.) It’s such a simple concept, yet it yields such hilarious results. Talk about Halloween genius at its finest. Luckily, we can continue laughing and aww-ing over miniature tasty attire, thanks to the ‘Babies in Food Costumes’ Tumblr.
