Benito Baeza

Benito is a transplant from a small town in New Mexico but has lived and worked in the Magic Valley for 5 years now. He comes to KLIX as the News Director and AM Idaho anchor. Previously Benito worked as a reporter for a Twin Falls TV Station. He started his broadcast career in radio and is glad to be back on the radio waves. Benito enjoys being outdoors and believes Southern Idaho is one of the best places for that. He likes to get out and hike the South Hills, kayak the Snake River, and in the winter, hit the mountains to snow board.

Yellowstone Opens On-time Thanks to Private Efforts

YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK (AP) - The East Entrance to Yellowstone National Park is set to open Friday after a public-private effort to get the park's roads plowed despite federal budget cuts.

Nevada Hopes Study on Coyotes Keep Sage Grouse off Endangered List

ELKO, Nev. (AP) — County commissioners in rural northeast Nevada say they'd rather kill coyotes than study them. Buhl Man Arrested after Nearly Hitting Police Officer

 

BUHL, Idaho (AP) — A south-central Idaho man who police say nearly caused a head-on collision with a police vehicle has been charged with drunk driving. The Times-News reports that 24-year-old Moises Rivera Rosales of Buhl was charged Tuesday in 5th District Court with driving under the influence and having an invalid driver's license.
