Benito Baeza

Benito is a transplant from a small town in New Mexico but has lived and worked in the Magic Valley for 5 years now. He comes to KLIX as the News Director and AM Idaho anchor. Previously Benito worked as a reporter for a Twin Falls TV Station. He started his broadcast career in radio and is glad to be back on the radio waves. Benito enjoys being outdoors and believes Southern Idaho is one of the best places for that. He likes to get out and hike the South Hills, kayak the Snake River, and in the winter, hit the mountains to snow board.

Idaho Black Bear Killed after it Killed Two Goats

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Wildlife officers say a black bear that raided trash cans and killed two goats at a planned community along Idaho Highway 55 north of Boise has been killed.

E. Idaho Hit Hard by Wind

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) — Cities and towns across much of eastern Idaho are in cleanup mode after a day of gusty winds felled trees, knocked out power and closed roadways.

National Weather Service Meteorologist Gary Wicklund says the region was hit with sustained winds of 55 mph, with gusts reaching as high as 67 mph in Ashton and the Craters of the Moon National Monument
