As if walking over 1,700 miles across the country for homeless youth in 2010 on his Meet Me Halfway campaign wasn’t enough of a stand for Jimmy Wayne to talk for foster kids nationwide, he is now doing even more. Wayne has teamed up with Memphis Representative to pass a critical legislation bill in Tennessee to help many foster children transition into adulthood after they “age out” of the foster care system.
This week, Chris Young has once again topped the charts with his latest single, ‘You.’ With a new No. 1 under his belt, Young’s chart-topping streak increases to five straight No. 1 hits, following the success of ‘Gettin’ You Home (The Black Dress Song),’ ‘The Man I Want to Be,’ ‘Voices’ and ‘Tomorrow.’

Lee Brice recently popped the big question to his longtime girlfriend, Sara Reevely, who of course said yes! Brice and Reevely had been dating throughout the course of 10 years and share a beautiful 3-year-old son named Takoda. Sorry ladies, but the final bachelor of the Eli Young Band will officially be off the market in a little over a week. James Young, the band’s guitarist, is set to wed his longtime girlfriend on Saturday, Feb. 4.
Over the weekend (Saturday, Jan. 21), Lee Brice was the latest country star to fall victim to an unexpected bus fire that destroyed his home on wheels. After pulling into Toby Keith‘s I Love This Bar and Grill restaurant in Mesa, Ariz., the back end of Brice’s Prevost tour bus caught on fire, but everyone escaped with minimal damage. Brice is now reflecting on the scare.
