The Bootcamp update for Arma 3 is now available, bringing with it a bevy of single and multiplayer content.

Players who update will get the Bootcamp single player campaign, which introduces them to the basics of infantry combat and then tasks them with completing real objectives. The multiplayer Bootcamp is more geared towards veterans of Arma 3 and can allow them to help newbies better adapt.

The VR training allows the same kind of practice, but without the fear of penalties. In the Virtual Arsenal, players can view characters, equipment and weapons by cycling through them. On top of this new content, Bohemia Interactive has also made some tweaks to the main experience by refining fatigue and weapon sway mechanics.

You can also expect further integration to the Steam Workshop, which means that you'll be able to share more with the rest of the Arma 3 community, like add-on weapons, vehicles and gear.

The update is available on Steam for anyone with the game. If you need the core game, you can pick it up for $59.99.
