BOISE, Idaho (AP) — An Arizona man who pleaded guilty to defrauding his former employer of $450,000 has been sentenced to three years in prison and ordered to pay nearly $607,000 in restitution.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says 37-year-old Christopher L. Myers of Cave Creek, Ariz., was sentenced Monday by U.S. District Judge B. Lynn Winmill. Myers pleaded guilty to wire fraud in August for wiring money from his employer to his personal accounts to pay his mortgage and bolster his investment accounts. Myers was comptroller for a Boise-based company called Click Sales, Inc., which does business as ClickBank.

The company facilitated the sale of educational programs, and after taking a commission, passes the money on to retailers. Prosecutors say Myers transferred amounts listed on "issued but uncashed" checks to his account between August 2008 and November 2011.
