I don't know about you but sometimes I feel like life is so busy that I'm either going to start screaming or crying or maybe both.

I always thought weekday evenings were meant to be a time for families to re-connect. For life to slow down, and to just be calm. This is not the case in 2016! Evenings are a time for hours of homework with your kids, making dinner, packing lunches, answering emails, folding laundry, reading school newsletters, filing paperwork, driving your kids to practice, etc.

Things have changed a lot since I was a kid. Work never shuts off, and your kids are so scheduled they don't have time to be a kid!

My question is...are our busy lives worth it? Do we really need to be available to our bosses 24/7, and do our kids really need an hour or more of homework every evening? If the answer is yes, then I can accept that but what if we really don't need to be this busy. What if we actually sat down at night and were able to just be with our families?
