Are Trampoline’s Unsafe? [POLL]

My kids have been begging for a trampoline for the past year so we finally gave in and put one in the back yard. My kids love it! And I have to admit...it's almost as cool as when I was little. My siblings and I lived on our trampoline from 3 years of age to 18 years of age. It was the one toy that never got old. It seems like you can't go wrong with a trampoline. That is until, you are told you might be a bad parent because trampolines are dangerous. I realize that really bad accidents have happened with trampolines but bad accidents have happened on bicycles, swing sets, slip n slides, etc. On the other hand it is our job as parents to protect our kids from getting hurt so maybe I should sale the trampoline.
