The casting of Edgar Wright's 'Ant-Man' is heating up, though it looks like it's about to get 'LOST.' Evangeline Lilly, who spent six seasons stuck on an island and recently appeared as an Elf in 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug,' is being courted for the film's female lead.

Variety broke the news that Lilly is in early talks, and though we know that Michael Douglas is playing Hank Pym and Paul Rudd is Scott Lang, it's unknown what Lilly's role might be, though word is that she'll be playing Lang's love interest and may also be Pym's daughter.

All word is that Lilly is incredibly choosy about her roles after 'LOST' launched her into stardom, as she only appeared in two movies while on the island (one being the best picture-winning 'The Hurt Locker'), and has only made three movies since then: 2011's 'Real Steel,' and the final two 'Hobbit' movies. Whether she pursued this role or was courted is unknown, but her reticence speaks highly of the project.

'Ant-Man' is scheduled to start production in April, which means a decision will be reached shortly on this, while the film is scheduled to hit theaters July 17, 2015.
