The Band Perry is lighting up the television screen lately, with a recent performance on 'Dancing With the Stars' and an upcoming slot on the Billboard Music Awards. They'll continue their streak next week, as the family trio has just been added to a star-studded lineup on the 'American Idol' season finale, giving fans a special performance to look forward to.

TBP will be singing with fifth place 'Idol' finalist and fellow Tennessee native Janelle Arthur, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The 'Idol' contestant represented country music in a huge way while competing on the show, performing hits from country acts such as Vince Gill, Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks before she was eliminated.

Fox hasn't yet announced which song the Band Perry and Arthur will be singing, although it is sure to be a grand slam, as they are all talented, spot-on performers at the top of their game.

In addition, country standout contestant Kree Harrison will learn if she captured America's hearts to follow in the footsteps of fellow country music stars Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson. It's sure to be a great night full of fantastic performances, with a newly crowned 'Idol' at the end.

With country star Keith Urban's presence as a judge and the familiar faces of TBP, the 'American Idol' season finale will be a fun-filled event for country music fans to watch. It will take place live from Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre on May 15 and 16, airing on Fox prime time.
