AMC's 'Mad Men' will once again leave us for the year after next Sunday, while freshman period drama 'Turn' closes up its inaugural season in just a few weeks, so why wait for a sneak peek of the next generation of AMC drama? Weeks before its June 1 premiere, check out the first full episode of '80s computer drama 'Halt and Catch Fire' right now!

For those unfamiliar with the new series, whose premiere has at last surfaced, ‘Halt and Catch Fire’ stars ‘Guardians of the Galaxy‘ baddie Lee Pace, Marvel One-Shot star Scoot McNairy and ‘That Awkward Moment‘ star Mackenzie Davis. Set in the 1980s against the backdrop of the personal computing boom, the series was created by Chris Cantwell and Chris Rodgers with Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein (‘Breaking Bad’) as executive producers.

Here’s how AMC describes the series:

‘Halt and Catch Fire’ is set roughly one year after IBM all but corners the market with the release of its first major product – the IBM PC. In this fictional drama, a former IBM executive, Joe MacMillan (Lee Pace) plans to reverse engineer the flagship product of his former employer and forces his current company, Cardiff Electric, into the personal computer race.

MacMillan enlists the help of Gordon Clark (Scoot McNairy), a once great engineer who dreams of creating a revolutionary product while trying to manage his initially unsupportive wife Donna (Kerry Bishé), and Cameron Howe (Mackenzie Davis), a volatile prodigy who puts her future in jeopardy to join MacMillan’s rogue PC project. ‘Halt and Catch Fire’ thrives on the spirit of innovation and explores what it’s like to stand at the forefront of something world-changing and work towards it, no matter the risk.

We're certainly more excited for this premiere than most of AMC's latest freshman offerings, but what do you think? Check it out for yourself at the link below, and tell us in the comments what you think of of 'Halt and Catch Fire'!
