The pulse-pounding thrills and space-bound scares in Alien: Isolation will be coming to us later this year.

Sega and Creative Assembly have announced that we'll be able to take part in the first-person survival horror game on Oct. 7, 2014. Players will be soaked in sweat and mired in tension as they try to outwit and outrun a Xenomorph on the hunt.

What makes the ordeal worse is that the main character will be under-prepared and under-equipped, facing off against a predatory creature with no set pattern or scripted actions. Get ready to feel like you're being hunted and watched at all times.

Alistair Hope, Creative Lead at Creative Assembly said, "We couldn’t be happier to finally announce a date for Alien: Isolation. The reaction we have seen so far has been simply incredible, from the screams and shrieks to the cold sweats and racing hearts. It’s the Alien game that we’ve always wanted to play and we can’t wait to let everyone get their hands on it this fall."

Prepare to feel the tension when Alien: Isolation is released on Oct. 7, 2014 for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
