A Look at Crime in Twin Falls County

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) -The crime rate for Twin Falls County went up in 2015 from the year before.

According to the latest statistics compiled each year by the Idaho State Police Crime Report the crime rate for Twin Falls County grew  4.3% from 2014 to 2015. That is taken from the number of violent crimes such as murder, rape, drug abuse, and theft.

In 2015 the county had a total of 4,752 offenses reported, of which 2,122 were cleared.  The data shows there were four murders in 2015, three in 2014. Overall arrests for Twin Falls County have gone down by 6.2%.
