Hoarfrost - not only is it fun to say but it is beautiful to look at.

To say I understand the science behind hoarfrost (yes, it's pronounced like you are thinking but don't want to say) and how it forms is a lie. All I know I learned from the weather channel that when we get a good fog and the temperature is below freezing, we often get hoarfrost. Science.

When we sing about a winter wonderland at Christmas, this is what we mean. Not howling winds and snow crushing houses.
