2015 Taste of Country Music Festival-goers won't just catch a fun show when Jerrod Niemann takes the stage, they'll also hear his incredible songwriting. The "Buzz Back Girl" singer is performing during the June 12-14 festival at Hunter Mountain in central New York.

Success didn't happen quickly for Niemann, who signed with a label in 2001, even though he didn't release anything with them. It wasn't until he released his first major label album, Judge Jerrod & the Hung Jury, and he also snagged his first No. 1 single, "Lover, Lover," that things began to turn around.

The hit was just the beginning for Niemann's flourishing career; after "Lover, Lover," he then scored another Top 5 hit with "What Do You Want." More recently he released High Noon, and he rose to the top of the charts with "Drink to That All Night."

His singles will sound familiar while he plays the New York stage, but he could also play some of the songs he's written for other artists. Niemann is such a talented songwriter that even Garth Brooks recorded one of his songs. He's also written for Blake SheltonLee Brice and Neal McCoy.

Niemann's also no stranger to the stage, playing 200 shows a year regularly, and his set at the ToC Music Festival will surely show that. The 2015 festival includes a long list of impressive country acts like Tim McGrawKeith UrbanToby KeithBilly Currington and the Eli Young Band, among others.
