14 Magic Valley Fisheries to be Stocked, April 4-8

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – More than 11,000 trout is scheduled to be released at Salmon Falls Creek Reservoir. Another 6,000 will be released at Oakley Reservoir.

These are just two Magic Valley fisheries on the books for fish stocking this week, April 4-8, according to the Idaho Department of Fish and Game. Other waters and the number of fish to be stocked this week include:

Crystal Lake, 380
Niagara Springs, 380
Magic Reservoir, 5,000
Mormon Reservoir, 2,400
Little Wood River, 760
Filer Ponds, 345
Freedom Park Pond, 238
Riley Creek, 500
Frank Oster Pond 1, 500
Frank Oster Ponds 2-4, 350

Oster Pond 1 and Riley Creek also will be stocked sometime next week each with additional 500 fish, according to information from the department.
